We're back from our performance at the Regenr8 dome in Peats Ridge on New Year's Eve. Powered completely by solar, the 360 degree projection screens were a perfect backdrop for the projections and audio smoke signals visualising our music. Wearing gloves with sensors, I used hand movements to control and trigger sounds. The results were projected onto the dome walls as visual effects via open source program Smokescreen, combined with J D Young's video art.

The festival had a great village atmosphere this year, hosting a huge array of acts with no obvious headliners. We saw lots of fun and eccentric cabaret acts and bands, drank too much Mayan coffee and soaked up the buzz of the crowd, dressed in their freakish best for New Year's.
