Still searching for the right sequencing/mixing software for live performances. Latest discovery is Mixx, which looks similar to Traktor, fuzzy beat-matching and all. Has already provided hours of entertainment and confusion. And it can be MIDI-controlled and connected up to a turntable with a sensor like Final Scratch Pro. Ah, the possiblities...

A group of us are starting a network for female electronic artists and
techies, so we can support each other by exchanging resources and
collaborating. We're really open to hearing from women out there who are
into electronic music, sound, software, graphic design, web design;
whether you'd be into attending/presenting workshops or pursuing online creative
collaborations. We'd also like to do some gigs together, and other stuff
mentioned on the flier that Sarah Bock, the instigator of this great idea, put together.
