It's mid winter and I'm recording vocal lines and arranging tracks for the next album. This is a slow process of record, delete, cut, copy, paste, and start all over again. Or my favourite function of Ardour - ' DESTROY.' Even the most hideous vocal take can be finally erased and never found again.
We're also half way through the Bondi Wave workshops, sponsored by Waverly Council and held at the Powerhouse Museum. So far I've run Acid Pro and the Reason course, both of which attracted a great mix of people. This week Tom Ellard follows up with a Fruity Loops master class.
Next I'm presenting 'Computer Music for Women', which runs over 3 nights - Tues 6, Wed 7, Thur 8 of July from 6 - 9pm. Later in the month will be a video editing and vision mixing course, which was really fun last year. Details of all the Bondi Wave sessions can be found on http://www.waverley.nsw.gov.au/info/pavilion/wave/courses.asp
