We've expanded our Clan Analogue gig on 11 August at the Mandarin Club by merging with local party crew, Pop Frenzy. Two more acts have been added to the bill - Screenings from Melbourne and The Pharaohs from Adelaide, injecting some hard rock into what started as a purely electronic night.

Here are all the details:

Clan Analogue & Pop Frenzy present: REVENGE OF THE SYNTH

Date: Thursday Aug 11th, 7pm.
Venue: Mandarin Club, Level 4. Oriental Room. cnr. Pitt & Goulbourn Sts Sydney
Cost: $8

Bands: Clan Analogue artists - DSICO, Deprogram, Lunar Module, Valley Forge, Of Salt At Night.

Pop Frenzy artists: Screening (Melb), The Pharaohs (Adel).

DJs: Julian and Ed from Bleepin' J. Squawkins.

Clan Analogue, Australia's longest-running electronic collective, join forces with Pop Frenzy for a special night of live entertainment.

Clan Analogue regulars DSICO, Deprogram, Bleepin J Squawkins, Valley Forge and Of Salt At Night challenge the rock gods from Screenings and The Pharaohs with their own brand of synth-driven live electro.

With non-stop visuals by Morph and Deprogram, Revenge of the Synth promises more digital effects than a space epic.
