I had a great Saturday night at Filth, dancing out the demons at the Burdekin in Oxford St, Darlinghurst. I have a lot of fond party memories from that venue, and last night it managed to live up to my expectations (which are quite low these days) again.
The DJs were playing a mix of gritty electro, tech, house, garage and grime. Divided into 2 levels, I ended up spending most of my time on the 2nd floor with FBi Radio's Garage Pressure crew. I've always appreciated their music while driving, but it was great to be able to move to the tricky, jolting beats, lots of speeding up and slowing down records to challenge the most committed dancer.
