I forgot to mention that we had our second installment of the Beat-Route sessions a couple of weeks ago with upcoming Sydney punk band, Atomicide. Their raucous set ripped the place apart - very cool indeed. Unfortunately I missed most of it while preparing lighting for the gig. Within the first few minutes I managed to drop a lamp base on my foot and crush my toe. The next few hours were spent writhing in agony with ice packs, feeling a bit silly for not wearing the proper footwear. When will I learn?

This week we're preparing for the This Is Not Art Festival in Newcastle, before heading off for our month long tour of Europe and the UK.

We'll be performing on Sunday October 1 at the Sunday Street Strolling Day on Auckland St, between King & Hunter Sts. This is the site of the Zine Fair and TINA Independent Artists Market. We get to play on a solar powered stage, which I'm pretty excited about. We'll be on from 4:30pm.

Talented Sydney producer and Clan Analogue member, Luminarsi, had just finished a great remix of 'Controlled Impulse.'

His quirky version is full of cool bleeps and squeaks, vocal snippets and a glitchy pop feel.

Well worth a listen:
