Looks a lot prettier than it sounds
(I can't stop taking screenshots since my cat showed me how to do them)

It's a gorgeous Autumn day outside and all I can do is try to work out why Patchage isn't picking up my firewire card and why it's glitching constantly - a persistent problem for me. For now I'll use my internal laptop soundcard, cause I don't want to interrupt my 'flow.' Even so, I still haven't worked out how to get Adrour to restart at 44k, so am stuck with chipmunk voices and sped up beats. This machine is not co-operating today! I want to compose, not solve technical problems and hang on mailing lists and chat channels waiting for responses to my inane questions.

I guess it's back to the piano for now...though I'm getting bored with the lack of multitracking potential. What are my other options?

- Turn off the computer
- Go for a swim
- Numb my brain by reading the Sunday papers
- Have a coffee in the sun
- Gardening

Hopefully one or more of these activities might help my brain cells clear.
